Comic conventions
on December 27, 2010
It’s a bit late on my part due to being out of town, but here’s a Christmas pic by Anonimino.
I might be going to Acen this May. I’m on the wait list for a table in the Artist’s Alley, it filled up within about 50 minutes of opening for registration this year o_0 How the heck do people manage these things? I’d like to go to Otakon, Connecticon, and the New England Webcomic convention, do I have to sit in front of my computer clicking the ‘refresh’ button for the next 6 months to register?
Love to see you attend this year. Been the end of a long day, so I can’t recall the contact info for our webcomic coordinator. As for registration in general, the website is being tweaked, and things *should* be up and running sometime later this month.
Okay so I know this is a year old news post, but just to clarify, the comics centered in Columbus, right? So…if ya haven’t been or I just haven’t found ya at the place, there’s Ohayocon.
You should go to Kumoricon this year in September.
Well. I plan to have a booth at New York Comic Con in October. We will be promoting the entire online comics industry and we are looking for some spotlight artists for our free handout and promo materials. We are trying to raise awareness of the online artists and help drive traffic to your sites. We are not charging anything to the artists and will be in need of possible poster art and promo materials to give away. Interested?? Please contact me. A personal appearance might be great as well.
You should come to the NYCC. It’s a wonderful place, and the sheer possibilities are mind-boggling. 150,000 people, last year, I think. A day. Anyway, think about it.
