Interesting how even Sahira automatically uses her arms in an advantageous way. I am sure, that IF I grew additional arms and hands, they’d be in my way for ages, until I finally get used to them.
My brain can’t be rewired into using additional arms perfectly the moment they appear.

It’s been previously shown that the extra arms sometimes act on their own if the person is distracted, although somewhat going along what the person wants to do.
2: Some radiation or exposure or whatever techno babble of Sahira being close to her has made her mutate too. The comic wouldn’t be as fun with having two multi-armed people, so they try to think of a way to help her. In the end, they make a solution that can only work once. Heather wants to help her friend/wants to still be a super hero so she lets Sahira take it.

I think this a preview of the book-only chapter. I also wondering why Heather has a queen-sized bed. Does she have a “significant other” that we haven’t seen? Or is it just that she likes it roomy when sleeping? Or is it a case of hope springs eternal? You know, hoping that if you get the extra bed space, someone will eventually come and fill it?
