I don’t think he’s playing superhero if he is an actual, working, professional superhero. I think she’s working this from the wrong angle, she’s upset because he’s a cop and a superhero, why don’t he just quit the much more dangerous line of work of being a copper, and just focus on his awesome super powers and perfect survival skills. Or is she just both stupid AND unreasonable?
With power comes responsibility. But with marriage and children come even more responsibility. This creates a dilemma for the moden man. He has power, and by the man code (yes, I can be that chauvinistic) he needs to use that power in a responsible way. However, he needs to think of his children first.
The first thought I’d have is, “What example do I set for my children if I let innocent people become victims? It’s the whole Incredibles issue of “What does it mean to be manly?”
