On a somewhat related note, I remember reading an Inuyasha fanfic where, basically, Sango invented the tampon in the Warring States Period in Japan using a washcloth and a cattail plant to help her remain clean and heroic during ‘her time of the month’.

They are your charaters, white them to behave as you think they would… after all, who knows them better than their creator?

Appearence of something being forced (I don’t really agree with this, but many are meantioning it) is a problem with pacing and/or foreshadowing (or a lack thereof). I feel lower-lefty served to foreshadow this sufficiently, but YMMV, and for many of you obviously does.

Anyways, loved the comic up ’till now, and no doubt will continue to love it. I’ve had friends who when through similarly sudden discoveries that their sexuality was not quite what they had thought, and they were more experianced than Spinerette here.

Spinny/Heather and MM’s/Marilyn’s relationship does seem rather forced although I think it is because we have seen so little development of Heather’s character concerning sexuality. Up until this time she seemed to be heterosexual and now she is showing a romantic interest in Marilyn. That raises more questions then answers since Spinny/Heather seems very confused about affection. Hopefully more exploration of this will wrap up these loose ends of character development.

I understand stuff happens and Walter may not be available for every chapter. I appreciate that you’re at least keeping to one artist per chapter, so the change is less jarring.

Fernando is clearly a skilled artist, but stylistically I most defiantly prefer Walter’s work, for one very strong yet simple reason:

Walter makes the characters CUTE!

His expressions are fantastic! Fernando… less so. Much less so. A couple times in Chapter 7 our heroine expressed dislike of manga-style art. I took that as Fernando’s opinion coming through. Certainly his art style lacks that which has made Japanese manga so internationally popular.
