Blame my bad grammar. I can see Krow sitting down (figuratively) with his artist describing the action he wants portrayed and the artist roughing out this sketch. Just what the heck has Krow in store for Spinny? Hopefully they were just brainstorming, bouncing ideas around. Spinny looks terrified, or in pain. But.. I knew a girl who would yawn like that.
@Asura: I know that. By working together, I meant that Krow gives storyboards while artists draw story boards and I was confused about what Armeisce said about a “pale moon rising”.
But you’ve got to admit, taken as a snapshot, this image is damn good. Compared to the other character sketches this one has a lot of power. I hope it’s included in the comic. Awesome.

Hm. Dr.U might well believe Spins is a naturally-occurring mutation, and see her as a useful test subject to add or subtract from, not realizing she’s ALREADY made a trip through Lambda’s little toy. How a second trip through would go might be very bad, or …might just completely fail.
But messing with Spins’ powers would SO not be her favorite thing to do.
Self image issues and a girlfriend she imagines would only love her as a hero would factor in.
And if Greta sees Spins as a monster, or just a sick or mutated person, and Dr. U can ‘fix’ her… well, remember Sahira’s first response to Spin’s mutation.
Greta might well want to help her personal hero Dr. U to heal or “fix” a poor woman who has been cursed with spider-like mutations. For SCIENCE!
Lots of people become used to their own appearance or disabilities, but are still ill… and hey, you may have to motivate them a little to get corrective measures done… congratulations Greta, you’re now a monster too! Not so different from Dr. Mengle, are you?
… except Herr Mengele dissected and butchered people “for science” (read: mostly for his own amusement) and his “mission” wasn’t so much as to cure people as to find how to convert all non-Aryan Germans into Aryans. =_= Sick man either way.
My guess is that Dr. U was talking to Dr. Lambha when Heather was abotu to enter the lab. Discovering them she changed into her costume and confronted them as Spinnerette.
And completely forgetting that MM works in the same building. Sometimes she can be so gungho about being a superhero that she forgets she’s part of a team.
