on August 1, 2012Back in one piece! Otakon was great fun, it’s the biggest con we go to. Devil’s Panties and Draconia Chronicles made great neighbors.
I’m glad I had the chance to say hi to Mookie from Dominic Deegan and Alan from Rival Angels. I might have to convince Otakon to put a webcomics area together next year, and do a panel or two.
Mr. Webby was a big hit, look for the kickstarter soon!
I’ll be at Wizard World Chicago August 9th to 12th, Spinnerette’s last con of the year.
Anyone notice that Dr. U is politely dropping the “Black” from Tiger’s name?

I have the sick feeling that a Cherenkov-Kirby Reactor has a physical part of a super powered person to provide the raw superpower it produces.

Ok, read through a bunch of comments (not all), theme seems to be about the same.
So, everyone knows that there are multiple sources of powers. Tiger has his spiritual power, Mecha-Maid has technology, and as we (and now Doc U) know, Spinny’s is from a C-K reaction.
Now then, anyone recall that C-K powers are nuclear? Potentially limitless energy? It’s just a hunch, but I think it’s a pretty solid guess that ‘critical’ means her C-K energy is going critical. Thus increase in powers, but probably bad for everyone in the long-run.
I highly doubt Spinny’s going to explode OR mutate much further as Doc U is probably going to talk out the situation (it’s what he does after all. damn good at it too). Probably mention that Spinny must’ve been hit by the ray, explains the consequences, then to avoid mutually assured destruction, fix the problem. Likely he’ll say he needs the C-K reactor as well (which I’m guessing HE built).
Also, this line has been bugging me…
“You don’t even know what’s a C-K reactor even is!”
You don’t even know what is a C-K reactor even is? Bad form.
Anyways, love the comic. Always itching to see what comes next.
