Normally, I hear Universe as an other-wise well-balanced guy with some messed-up principles, but when I got to panel four, all I could hear was Tisel Bonne from Megaman Legends. In other words, one hundred and twenty times cooler. *evil grin*
Actually, ALS may have a genetic cause. There’s a bunch of evidence that, at least in certain forms of ALS, a mutation that makes the protein Super-Oxide Dismutase (SOD) misfold is responsible. Unfortunately, once the misfolding starts, it tends to propogate, so changing someone’s genome after that may not cure the condition.
i’d like to point out that Dr. U isn’t exactly EVIL, maby nughty, but deffently not EVIL. he dosn’t want the world, all he wants to do is help people. he’s only marked as a “Villain” because he excaped from jail. Dr. U didn’t even fully try to convince spinny to get the C.K. reactor. he has her in his hand, HELL, he can learn her identity easly right now. but he dosn’t use everything he has to get the C.K. reactor. i’m thinking that he’s giving spinny info as well as helping AND getting something out of the deal. remember he was arrested unfairly and sent to jail without trial. he is kinda forced into this life. he maybe the villain today, but he could be the hero tomarrow. think Megamind.
So suddenly there“s a cure out of nowhere, no one has mentioned before and no one knew or even thought about it for a disease which is uncureable?
Yeah…..
Archive dived through this entire comic after reading some of book 2 at a friends house. Really enjoying it, I like the way you’re keeping MM’s ALS a valid concern and not just brushing it away. As someone who suffers from PMA (another form of motor neuron disease) it annoys me when writers use it for characterisation and then discard it (although this does only happen in sci-fi etc. but I like sci-fi so…).
oh Jose I promised you I’d help out with word so here’s the deal I going to do some exploring around to see if I can find the feature I used before ok
That’ what we do here – we help each other.
ok and again thanks Mongoose Van Dunkelschreiber
Jake Sully’s birthday is one day before my own
BTW … g’night.
When I wake again it will be to a new Spinnerette page. at 06.01.
I seriously doubt I will be awake then, as it’s Bank Holiday and my alarm clock is turning off
Bank Holiday…are you in the UK?

I wonder why Greta looks so sad but very touching moment.

No, Mr. Webby, that’s poorly written Twilight fan fiction.
And, this deal doesn’t seem bad at all, except that Heather doesn’t have the greatest moral fiber.
But did she just consider giving up her life in order to cure Marilyn? That’s… actually kinda sweet.
